Faye Sutthakorn-Evans

Faye has been playing the piano since the age of 7. Receiving training throughout her life from Emily Jeffery, Murray McLachlan, Gabrielle Baldocci. She has been selected for numerous master classes from distinguished artists such as Sergio De Simone, Katya Apekishiva, Pascal Roge and Dmitri Aleksandrovich Bashkirov.

Faye has played at many prestigious global venues: Carnegie Hall-New York, Wigmore Hall-London, Festival Hall Southbank-London, Purcell Room Southbank-London and Headlined at the WAF awards at Westminster with Martin Bartlett.

As well as playing a concert with the Celebrated Lang Lang. Faye has won and placed in many national and international piano competitions highlights being: Wandsworth Young Musician Of The Year 2 times in a row, 1st Prize at the Windsor International Competition, 2nd prize Kings Peak International Competition, and the Tunbridge Wells International Piano Festival.

Faye has received thorough musical training from Chetham’s Music School in Manchester, followed by Junior Royal College of Music in London. Currently, Faye is undertaking a Bachelors music degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in Greenwich, where she has been awarded Both The Alfred Therese Kitchen Scholarship and The David Gosling Piano Scholarship. During her conservatoire training Faye took additional electives in Music Psychology and Advance Instrumental Teaching.

Faye has taught privately as well as at schools such as Heathfield school Ascot and currently, at Dorchester Primary School. As a teacher Faye believes one never should stop learning . Faye is employee of the Sutton music Trust, as well as a member of the BSMA ( british suzuki music asssociation) and the ISM (international sociaty of musicians ). She has Public & Products Liability Insurance as well as a leval 3 in children safe guarding (renewed in november 2024). Faye is always looking at new methods and ways to teach and adapt her teaching. Faye is currently looking at professional development into the Suzuki teaching method, starting by attending the Bryanston International Summer School as a teacher trainee. By this summer she will have completed her qualification.
